COMMERCIAL CEMENTITIOUS URETHANE

Also known as a "Urethane Slurry" system, this is a three-component flooring system in which one of the components is a cement-based powder; it is more chemically resistant than epoxy.

WHY CEMENTITIOUS URETHANE?

Cementitious Urethane floor coatings offer many advantages when compared to even Epoxy coatings applied over concrete. Here are a few perks to installing a Cementitious Urethane in your home or business, and some of the differences between these systems:

  • Cementitious Urethane can be applied to "green" concrete.

  • It is moisture tolerant and can withstand thermal change and impact better than Epoxy Floors, and is self-leveling in most cases.

  • It has a rapid return to service (faster cure times than Epoxy), which means you can be back in your space quicker.

  • It is temperature-resistant and it will not loose bond due to thermal shock.

  • No moisture testing is required.

  • Highly chemically resistant compared to Epoxy.
